A majority of the population of Iran include of Irenic peoples, that constitute of the largest groups like Persians and Kurds, and some smaller communities like Mazandaranis, Gilakis , Lurs, and Baloch.
Turkic groups account for about 15–24% of the Iranian population, Turkic mostly live in Azerbaijan thy are the largest ethnicity after also the other Turkic people contain the Turkmen and Qashqai in Iran.
The population of Arabs in Iran is about 2–3%. The remainder, amounting to about 1% of Iranian population, consists of a variety of minor groups, mainly comprising Assyrians, Armenians, Georgians, Circassia’s, and Mandaeans.
At the beginning of the 20th century Iran’s population was only 10 million people, which contains of : 6 million ,Persians are about 60% of population and 25% Azeris and about 0.2 million Mazandaranis and Gilakis.
The Kurds are an ethnic group in the Middle East and they live in northern of Iran but mainly Kurdish are living in Iran, Iraq , Turkey and Soria. but They mostly living in Turkey.
Lurs are a majority of people that mainly living south-western of Iran.
Lurs are the demographic majority of the provinces of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province and, Lorestan, Ilam and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. And also a small group of them living in Khuzestan and Bushehr. This people speaking with Lurish language.
The people that mainly living in Balochistan are Baloch, Balochistan is located in southeastern of iran in the edge of Pakistan.
Baloch speaking with Balochi language which is the Northwestern Iran’s language. About 50% of Baloch people are living in Balochstan and about 4% of them living in Pakistan and a small group of them living in Afghanistan.
