What we’ll do? Aging back some 4,500 years, Tabriz is one of the major historical capitals of Iran. From its Constitution House, to its Qajar period houses, this city has a story in every corner, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for good reason. Today we lace up our shoes and discover the city’s major attractions along with a knowledgeable guide. Our experience begins with the Blue Mosque, a mosque that was once covered with delicate blue tiles, but a good number of which fell after an earthquake. Still, she has preserved her beauty and has a charmingly peaceful atmosphere. We continue towards Sa’at Square, a lively and classy square guarded by Tabriz Municipality Palace and Museum. The Municipality Palace was designed by German engineers, giving it a very European style. Inside, it houses a unique carpet museum which we won’t miss. Our next stop is Nikdel historical house, the superstar of Tabriz historical houses. This house showcases a fine and delicate mirror art combined with detailed plasterwork in a purely traditional architecture unique to Yazd. Finally, we pay a visit to Ark Mosque (or Ark-e-alishah). This gigantic grandpa is 700 years old, and although the hardships of history have damaged him quite a bit, the fortress has stood tall and proud to this day. The mere scale of the monstrous wall is enough to drop your jaws, but as your guide tells you the stories behind the construction, you’ll surely have a newfound appreciation for the place. Of course, walking gets tiring, so we’ve arranged for some yummy snacks and refreshing drinks to keep you energy up throughout the day.Cities:

Zoroastrian Tour in Yazd & Taft
€ 15.00 – € 25.00/0.00078966 From €25 per person | 04 hoursTour Includes:-Transportation, tour guide -Attractions -Markar museum -Zoroastrian History and Culture museum -Dakhmeh (Tower of Silence) -Mobarakeh’s twin cypress trees -Cham cypress tree -Ghale AsadanTour Capacity:-04 PERSONS
Zoroastrianism is one of the most wondrous religions in the whole world, and, unlike the past, it has turned into small communities in some parts of the globe. Fortunately, Yazd Province in Iran is one of the places that still embrace this culture. The Zoroastrian experience in Yazd & Taft will make you familiar with this amazing community. Visiting Markar museum, the Zoroastrian History and Culture museum located in Yazd, with a local Zoroastrian leader will introduce you to traditional celebrations and rituals of the Zoroastrians, traditional dressing code of Zoroastrians, Zoroastrian holy shrines such as Chak Chak & Ghale Asadan, and much more! Dakhmeh (Tower of Silence), the Zoroastrian Cemetery, is a little bit different from other kinds of cemeteries. There’s a place on top of some towers to get rid of dead bodies. It has an interesting story behind it, which you will hear in the Cham Tower of Silence from a Zoroastrian local guide. There are also some natural and holly sights worth visiting such as Mobarakeh’s twin cypress trees which are 550 years old and also one of the oldest trees in the country, Cham cypress tree which is 3500 years old. Chatting with the genial people of Yazd is the number one attraction of this city. There’s a very kind woman, Dowlat Khanoom, with a beautiful heart who’s waiting for us in her house to talk in Persian with her sweet musical accent. Ghale Asadan (Seti Pir) is one of the Zoroastrian holy shrines and has a unique story behind it, as do all other shrines like Chak Chak. But I can say about this one that not everyone has heard of it so it’s more pure, authentic, & mysterious. And at the end, of course, if you have plans to know things about Zoroastrians, you must see a Fire Temple and, hear all of the history behind it from a true Zoroastrian.Cities:
