“You may be thinking about choosing a unique and interesting tourist destination. In this report, we present 10 reasons why you should overcome your doubts as soon as possible,” the American website Turbo News wrote in a report.
1-Iran is safe
Is travel to Iran safe? Whether you travel to Iran as a group or individually, whether you are a woman or a man, whether you arrive in this country day or night, Iran is a very safe country. I traveled to this country with a friend for 2 weeks, and I traveled by bus from one city to another at night. Based on my observations, since women move easily in Iranian cities at night, I can assure you that Iran is a safe country.
2-Iran is spoken everywhere in the world
Iran has been introduced by many authorities as one of the most popular travel destinations in 2014. I can only tell you that this year is the beginning of an endless period of influx of foreign tourists to Iran.
Iranians are hospitable because of their culture. From Tehran to Tabriz, when you meet Iranians, they invite you to their home. Of course, you should also be familiar with the tradition of compliments from Iranians before traveling, because you may encounter compliments from the driver when getting out of the taxi, and say goodbye to him without paying the fare due to ignorance of this tradition.
Iran’s Persepolis is probably the most famous historical site in Iran, without the need for any introduction, but it is not the only historical site in this country. From ancient Persia to modern Iran, it is a long historical journey that you can experience by traveling to this country and seeing historical monuments belonging to different periods.
If you visit a mosque, a palace or an Iranian bazaar, you will see delicate and beautiful decorations. It does not matter if you are inside or outside an Iranian building; in any case, masterful Iranian architecture is definitely something that attracts you as a tourist.
Each of the provinces, cities and even villages of Iran has its own handicrafts. In Yazd you buy a beautiful Termeh , in Tabriz you buy carpets and in Isfahan you buy blue decorations and beautiful tiles. Wherever you travel in Iran, you can return home with a unique souvenir.
Whether due to sanctions or the devaluation of the national currency, travel to Iran is now very cheap. Travel by train from Tehran to Tabriz is 8 euros and travel by bus from Ardabil to Lahijan is less than 3 euros. One night stay in a 4-star hotel costs about 30 euros. You can stay in a Royal Suite for an exorbitant fee.
Contrary to popular belief, the atmosphere in Iran is very calm and unlike many areas, at least in Italy, you can easily take photos anywhere. Iranians are very sociable and are very happy to be the subject of your next photo.
From pistachios to black tea, from saffron to kebab, from Mirza Ghasemi to Qarameh Sabzi, everyone is addictive, but if you ask me about the most delicious Iranian food, I choose pistachios and baklava. While some Iranian dishes, such as Qarameh Sabzi, have a national aspect and you can find them everywhere, but some dishes are specific to certain regions of Iran, such as Mirza Ghasemi, who is from Gilan, or Daisy with a lot of meat, which belongs to To Ardabil.
10-Experience a truly reliable journey
Probably because of sanctions, Iran does not have much trade with Western countries. Iran can be proud of its products and its various production fields, from food to textiles and ceramics. Iranians are also proud of their culture and traditions. They never miss an opportunity to explain what you may see, eat, hear, etc. in different parts of Iran.
